Briefing: Create a highly inspiring and commercial room setting in an IKEA pilot store which tells a personal story and works with the Ikea concepts style groups. Based on a customer in Berlin we created a living situation and gave home furnishing solutions according to their needs.

Concept: Tell the story of “Culture clash” in the melting pot of Berlin! Japanese girl falls in love with a Moroccan guy and they move in together. Conflict: How to combine a Japanese pure feminine styling concept with his needs of big U-shaped sofa to entertain his family and friends, his passion for technology and watching football?

We show a white, beige and light grey furniture based living room combined with Japanese details, clean graphical lines, lots of closed storage and a hidden screen to project the football games.

We display a home for two strong identities shaped by your culture and habits.

Location: Berlin, IKEA store

Concept: Stimulate a new perception for IKEA customer by using an unexpected range coordination and dramatic mood lighting. The colours concept is brave and the accent colours pop on the dark shaded base. The focus is a strong story telling of a confident mid aged single woman living in Berlin. She collects Art, books and express herself through fashion and design. The look is inspired by Frida Karlo.

Briefing: A highly inspiring “ Wow” room setting which respects the IKEA concepts but brings the Inspiration level higher then in the rest of the showroom. The space has the aim to leave a long lasting impression on the IKEA customer and trigger emotions. Extensive creative processes leads to the concept finding, fine planning and implementation of the room in the kitchen department.

Concept: New ways of working with a surprising multipurpose kitchen layout. The elements are mainly mobil and can easily change according to the actual need and activity in the space. The room secures functional cooking, dining and relaxing at home as a family. With ease it can be turned into a space which holds workshops or cooking events. The elements are pure, simple and contain some Japanese design elements.
