CONCEPTUAL PLANNING & IMPLEMENTATION
Briefing: Planning of the event, space- and design concept in cooperation with the local marketing department. Coordinating the completion of the project, implementation and styling. Present a product collection launch of IKEA and HAY. Create an unexpected interior design concept which simultaneously secures the companies identity. Impress and entertain the invited social media press and influencer to secure publicity and a positive impact on social media.
Location: Copenhagen, event location, 1700 qm, in- and outdoor space.
Concept: Each view, angle and detail of the space must be social media photo worthy. A strong colour scheme and the repetitive usage of form language unifies the space. Each product collection has been given its stage to perform strongly by its own. Create rooms in the room by using different flooring and theatralic velvet curtain drops, lighting and constructed cubes as room dividing elements. Work with IKEA range only, but give the items a new face and identity by combining with selected vintage items, spray painting them and present the products in unexpected scales and combinations. Reinvent and style IKEA food in an instagram friendly way.
